On Monday 13 April, over 450 staff came together from our 7 Trust schools for the first-ever Trust-wide Training Day.

A comprehensive programme of 41 workshops was offered to staff to choose from, ranging from ‘Using AI to streamline planning, marking and admin’ to ‘RSHE and the new curriculum coming in 2026’ to ‘How to make adaptations to lessons through using consistent techniques’, to name but a few. This event was a resounding success bringing together staff from all schools to work and train together.

Thanks must also be expressed to our guest speakers at this event: Chris Such (the art and science of reading), Lesley Birch (DfE RISE Adviser) and Kevin Ainslie and Sarah Levy reporting back on recent Ofsted inspections at Hampton Gardens and Old Fletton respectively for the benefit of Trust staff.
